LG 32LE5300 As always I read reviews of numerous products before I finally decided
to pick the LG 32LE5300 32" LED monitor. I wanted LED technology not
only for energy savings but also for brightness. I was quickly pleased
with the brightness of this set. Out of the box it was among the
brightest sets I've ever seen. When viewing this set ambient light
doesn't matter at all. The picture is always completely bright enough to
see. The only reason I would upgrade would be to get a completely
backlit LED as this one is only edge lit. Another reason I picked this
set was for the fact that it is a true 1080p in a 32" monitor. We don't
have a huge living room therefore didn't need a huge set but still
wanted the 1080p experience. Movies look great on this set. Our personal
favorite is Transformers. The action scenes cannot be beat on this set.
Unfortunately I didn't realize that the interface between my computer
and this set cannot reach 120hz so I can't use that feature but when
playing a video file from the USB input we were able to test the 120hz
feature. When we did this movies looked completely realistic. Having
four HDMI inputs makes setup a breeze while reducing the birds nest of
wires behind your setup. The remote is very easy to use as everything is
clearly labeled. All in all I am very pleased with this product a year
after I purchased it. When I upgrade I will be looking to LG as they
have provided me with the best product for the price (value) in this
set. I can't encourage you enough that when looking for a 32" set this
one can't be beat.
